Scarf Kimono – pattern from the Woman’s Hour website

Standard

I featured Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour programme on ‘The Business of Crafts’ in April, and have noticed from my stats that there have been quite a lot of people searching for the Kimono Pattern they were using.  Its a very simple pattern that you can use to make a Kimono top from three scarves – old or new!

I thought I’d make it easier for you and have copied the pattern below.

  1. Oh, my goodness, I wish I’d seen this a week ago! I scoured the web for tips on how to make a kimono shirt for a friend of mine who just had a mastectomy. My goal was to make it out of upcycled items. Ah, well! In the next few days I plan to write a post about the top I made for her last weekend out of thrifted t-shirts. I’m going to have t check out “The Business of Crafts,” too. Thanks!
